Victor Drai has dropped some hints and his party planning for “Gansevoort Las Vegas”. The former Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall, which housed Drai’s Afterhours club, is currently closed, and under a huge multimillion dollar transformation into “Gansevoort Las Vegas”. The new Hotel & Casino will house THREE Drai party destinations, including a beach club, a 65,000 sq ft nightclub, and of course, the afterhours club!
Drai didn’t give away any major details, but did mention the aesthetic will be dark and sexy, and the pool will feature an EPIC rooftop view of the strip. For those who do not know, the former Bill’s is located on PRIME strip space, between the Flamingo and Bally’s. View will include Caesars, Bellagio, Bally’s and Flamingo. Likely some Cosmo as well!
“[The] lighting will be a main element. Not scene performers, but LED lights in a major way. With the pool element, he does hope to bring a night swim party to the nightclub, similar to the wildly popular one he created and conceptualized when he founded XS as Encore.”
“We will have an element of surprise. The way the club is situated, it will be very different than other clubs, it’s going to look like the most beautiful club ever made. This is the first one I have designed and created from square one, and I think it will be my best on ever”
Needless to say, this sounds… AMAZING. This will completed revitalize the space previously occupied by Barbary Coast/Bill’s and will be able to compete with Ceasar’s Entertainments new Linq Project happening between Flamingo and The Quad
